Civil Litigation/Personal Injuries Solicitor - min 3PAE

We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and professionally presented solicitor with at least 3 years of post admission experience in civil litigation and personal injuries law to join our busy personal injury and civil litigation team.

About You

You will be looking for a challenge and ready to build on your existing experience in litigation, taking on the day to day running of files with partner supervision and assistance.

You will be organised, with good analytical skills, strong attention to detail and developing drafting skills. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to prepare your own correspondence and court documents with care and accuracy.

You will be eager to learn, willing to take direction, and committed to developing your confidence in dealing with clients and progressing matters effectively. You will enjoy working in a team focused environment and have an enthusiastic approach to litigation and professional development.

A background as a personal assistant, paralegal or law clerk in civil litigation, personal injury or a variety of matter types would be an advantage.

About the Role

This role will involve the preparation of legal documents and correspondence, liaising with clients, experts and barristers, and assisting with the day to day running of files under partner supervision.

You will prepare briefs, take statements and assist with investigative work associated with claims and defences to claims, and attend court as required.

You will work closely with our team to continue developing your litigation skills while providing excellent service to our clients.

You will be able to work with a good degree of independence while still benefiting from partner guidance and support. You will be confident managing files, liaising with clients, experts and barristers, and assisting clients with clear and practical advice throughout the course of a matter.

You will enjoy litigation, work well in a team environment, and be committed to continuing to develop your skills and professional capability.

A background as a personal assistant, paralegal or law clerk in civil litigation, personal injury or a variety of matter types would be an advantage.

We are inviting expressions of interest from experienced lawyers who may be interested in joining our firm in a senior capacity.

The Opportunity

We are seeking two profit sharing partners or consultants, with an existing client base, to join us on a non capital basis.

This opportunity may suit sole practitioners or small practices looking to reduce overheads while maintaining autonomy, or partners and senior lawyers seeking a more personal, fully supported environment.

What We Provide

We offer well located CBD offices on Waymouth Street, close to the courts, together with secretarial and administrative support, reception, IT, debtor management and CPD.
